[Listen] Mumford & Sons with Birdy - "Learn Me Right"

A new collaboration from Mumford & Sons and Birdy has hit the net in the shape of a track they put together for the new Pixar movie, Brave. We've been awaiting some new material from Mumford for quite some time so it's very nice to have anything from their camp. Birdy takes the lead on vocal duties with Mumford & Sons acting in beautiful harmony on backing vocals.

Marcus Mumford had spoken regarding the track previously stating:

It's quite fun doing a song for a movie rather than for an album. We liked the idea of having an orchestra in the background and having a girl like Birdy sing - it's been quite liberating.

It's hard to deny the fact that school girl Birdy can indeed sing, but it could also be argued that her cover of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love" killed peoples appreciation of her. Or maybe the radio stations are to blame for overplaying the track? I suppose the same could be said for many a band/song but whatever your stand point on Birdy, she's offered up another cove for fans. This time it's of the Phoenix track "1901" and you can give it a spin it below.

[Watch] Birdy - "Skinny Love" (Bon Iver Cover)

Birdy has been all over the airwaves here in the UK with Radio One jumping on her cover of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love". It seems that things are now snowballing even more for the youngster aged just 14 this track chearted at number 25.
