[Watch] Beady Eye Live at iTunes Festival Tonight (9pm GMT)
The iTunes Festival is running throughout the month of July with a host of artists playing numerous venues across London. Big names from Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Adele, Friendly Fires and Kasabian just to name a few will be gracing the 31 nights of Music. Tonight Beady Eye will show what they're made of and play tracks from their debut, Different Gear, Still Speeding. If you want to see Liam and Co in action you can watch from 9pm GMT over on the iTunes site or you can grab the app on your phones too to watch it at a later date.
On a side note rumors are rife that Noel Gallagher will tomorrow announce his solo album and then we can finally have some half decent new music from what used to be part of Oasis. More on that as and when the press conference takes part.
[Watch] Beady Eye - "The Beat Goes On" (Video)
Check out the new video for Beady Eye and their track, "The Beat Goes On" which featured on their debut album, Different Gear, Still Speeding. I tend to like videos like this with the live aspect incorporated well as it transfers the energy from the gig to the viewers at home or at your office desk. Check it out for yourselves at the top, it was filmed at last years Isle Of Wight festival which featured headline performances from Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, Pulp and Foo Fighters. You guys a fan of the live video? Or Beady Eye in general. I don't know why Liam and Noel can't just kiss and make up and make some more music. Or alternatively Noel just hurry up and write some new music, we all knew you were the talent so come on and prove it!
[Watch] Beady Eye - "The Roller" Live on letterman
Last night, Liam Gallagher and his new band Beady Eye made their american TV debut with a visit to the Late Show with David Letterman. Bringing the swagger that only Liam can pull off (and it's only because he's had it going on for the best part of two decades!) the band put in a performance of their track "The Roller". The track featured on their debut release Different Gear, Still Speeding. Check out their performance at the top courtesy of The Audio Perv. To pick up a copy of the aforementioned album head on over here.
[Watch] Beady Eye - "Millionaire" Live on Jools Holland
Earlier in the week Beady Eye performed on Jools Holland late night music show, along with a few other note worthy performances that you'll see later in the day it was a first hand glance at what Liam and the other members of Beady Eye could do live. If you've ever seen a live Oasis performance you know what I'm talking about when I say Liam looks like he owns the place but I was pleasantly surprised at the performance. The album may have recieved luke warm reviews at best in places but the band seem pretty tight live and not only that they're doing their bit for the world and we reported on the other day with their single for the relief efforts in Japan. The single is a cover of the Beatles' "Across The Universe" and you can check it out here.
[Listen] Beady Eye - "Across The Universe" (Beatles Cover)
Beady Eye have already begun to make strides to raise money for the awful happenings in Japan. Last night they played a benefit gig in London and finished off their set with this very track. Today they have released it in fully recorded studio quality for us all to enjoy and to further benefit the cause. We knew they liked the Beatles as the influence is evident on the bands album however they have now recorded a full studio version of the Liverpudlians "Across The Universe". You can listen to the studio version in full below. To pick yoruself up a copy of the track just head on over to Beady Eye's store and grab a copy. It's for charity and a great cause at that. Enjoy.
