[Listen] Check Out Another Piece From Trent Reznor's Upcoming Score For 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"
It's what we've had our eye on since the very beginning of January, but now the time has come for a sample of what's to come from the award winning pairing of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross and their new project on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The track comes after Trent himself tweeted a link to the official site for the film which just went live and playing in the background was this moody piece of, as yet, untitled music. The music is a step away from their last project on The Social Network but this seems far more fitting given the contents of the movie it is to soundtrack. The balls rolling and it's gathering speed, let's hope we have more of this music soon.

Last night (Sunday 16th) at the Golden Globes Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross picked up the award for Best Original Score. they won the award for their work on the score of last years Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg related film, The Social Network. They had competition from the scores of saw them win ahead of the work for Inception and Alice In Wonderland.
Reznor seemed a little taken a back by the news, taking to his Twitter account and tweeting "Holy shit!”. I think that says it all. While accepting the award Reznor said: "A year ago I had no idea I'd have the opportunity to score a film. The idea of standing up here to accept this award is surreal."
Winning the award bodes well for Trent as he's recently been announced to score The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Roll on December 2011 and more new music from Trent.

[Download] Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross - "Hand Covers Bruise" (No Piano) (From The Social Network Score)
This is a funny coincidence or just an act of awesomeness since my buddy Sami (of Rock It Out! Blog) and I were having a conversation (after watching the amazing movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) about when the first leak to The Social Network score would surface and he said "Give it a few days." Then BAM! just like that the first track "Hand Covers Bruise" hits the web (courtesy of RiO!B and OneThirtyBPM) a few days later. Coincidence? I dont think so.
The film hits theaters on October 1st and the score should hopefully release at the same time or around that date. Check it out below!
