[Listen] Danny! - "Silly Me (Myintrotoletuknow)"

I remember I first heard Danny! Swain back when he dropped the grammy nominated Charm (which was compared to alot of Kanye West's earlier works) and won mtvU's Best Music on Campus contest where he scored a digital EP deal with indie hip hop label, Definitive Jux. Sadly, the EP deal fell through but D. Swain never stopped stopped pumping out bangers like 2008's And I Love H.E.R.: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and 2009's Where Is Danny? which was re-released last year through Interscope Records.

Now Jay-Z's favorite artist (according to The Root's ?uestlove) is back for Payback and is finally getting set to drop his long awaited/delayed (due to lack of hype) 6th LP. In celebration of Payback coming out soon, D. Swain let loose a new track "Silly Me (Myintrotoletuknow)" from his upcoming album. Once you get past DJ Kay Slay yelling at you more than Eminem on Relapse, enjoy the beautiful production from Mr. Swain (which is comparable to Kanye, Madlib, Dilla) and real lyrics which Danny! discusses his struggle with trying to put out a major label album. Danny!'s music speaks for itself and this track is proof, fuck hype.

Peep the track below as well as 2 other joints, "Payback" Feat. iLLmont (video here) and the story of my life song "I Don't Want To Hear That Shit" both produced by Danny! from the upcoming album below. Then go yell at Interscope to put this shit in your hands now!
