[News] Amazon Launches Cloud Player

It's been rumoured for a while that the likes of Google and Apple want to take over the world. Oh, I mean that they've been developing a Cloud players! My bad. By this we mean a program/app that lets you access your music on whatever device you are on and wherever you are in the world. Handy right? Well yesterday tehy were beatem to the punch when Amazon crept right under their noses and launched their very own Cloud Player music service. CNN reports that you can just upload your tracks to Amazon's Cloud Drive and begin enjoying your music on the move. You can upload any file type you want, music files, photos, documents. You can start straight away and Amazon are offering you 5gb free of charge or buy an mp3 album on Amazon and get a free upgrade to 20gb of space. The times they are changing and Amazon are heading up the battle of the clouds. Watch this space as no doubt more services will be coming our way in the coming months.

What do you guys make of all of this and the fact it means Amazon or competitors in the coming months will have all of your music in one place, along with your data files and images? It's not a new concept but it is the way things are headed in coming years. Let us know, we'd love to hear what you think.
